Peter Handscomb has excelled since entering the Test arena

Few players could dream of a better start to Test cricket than Handscomb enjoyed after joining the Aussie Test team in somewhat of a rescue mission following the Hobart shambles. It took eight innings before he was dismissed for a score under 50.
By that point, his average was 99.75 and Australian cricket looked to have found its middle-order rock. A challenging tour of India followed, leaving the 26-year-old with more modest numbers. But a super debut summer nonetheless.

Eights Tests, 597 runs at 54.27.
Two centuries. Top score of 110.
