Ross Taylor saw the ball all right for a man who needed eye surgery

His numbers are somewhat blown out by a monster series against Zimbabwe (364 runs without getting out), but Taylor remains one of the game’s most dangerous batsmen when in full flight.
His efforts were particularly impressive considering the number of injuries and ailments he has battled in the past 12 months. He averaged 75.00 against Pakistan despite suffering vision issues stemming from a growth in his left eye that required surgery post-series.

12 Tests, 798 runs at 61.38.
Three centuries. Top score of 173 not out.
